Renting or letting in Lisbon is simpler than it looks. If your question isn’t here, write to us and we’ll reply within one working day.
How do viewings work?
Book a time on any rental page. Your Keyhold manager shows you round and answers questions about the building and the area.
What do I need to apply?
ID, proof of income for the last three months and a Portuguese tax number (NIF). We usually confirm within two working days.
How much is the deposit?
Usually two months’ rent, held until you move out and returned within 30 days of the check-out inspection.
How do I report a repair?
Use the Residents page or call us. Add a photo and pick a time slot; most repairs are booked the same day.
Can I keep a pet?
Many of our homes allow pets. Look for ‘Pets allowed’ on the rental page, or ask your manager.
What do you charge owners?
8% for Let only, 12% for Full management and 15% with Rent guarantee, taken only when rent comes in. No set-up fee.
How do you set the rent?
We visit, compare real lets nearby and give you a written rent figure within two days.
What if a tenant stops paying?
We follow up from day one. With Rent guarantee you are paid on time every month and legal costs are covered.
